MiniatureBuildings.co.uk : Exploring model buildings of all sizes and styles
Some thoughts on building models of all types and sizes
Miniature Buildings is not really a blog, nor is it a magazine. It is too infrequently updated and has no chronological sequence to it. I'm not trying to sell you anything. It is just a series of articles linked by a common theme. It wanders here and there as the fancy takes me. Stuff is added, little is ever thrown away. Just like at home. I dip into all sorts of miniature buildings. There is more on this in my Aims and Scope article.
The articles are all listed in the menu bars at the top of the page. But here are some ideas of where you might like to go next.
There are pieces about scales, whether scale or effect is more important, about buildings in particular scales: 1/24, 1/32, 1/43, HO/OO, 1/144.
There are some pieces about my own modelling, some about modelling techniques, some about individual artists, some about particular types of models. I venture outside the familiar word of model railways and dolls houses into house portraits, models inside real buildings, sculpture and miniature parks. Please wander freely.
As always, please
e-mail
Miniature Buildings
if you have something to add. Comments, criticisms,
extra thoughts, pictures, or even complete articles
for inclusion in the Miniature Buildings site
are all welcome. Or if you would like to be added to
my mailing list to hear when a new article is published.
